WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID
“
How brilliantly, cunningly bold of an author to include in the book’s description: “No one ever told her that some books were not meant to be read.” That alone, makes it a must-read.
ALBERT BERKSHIRE, author of We Made A Pact, on CHAIR de MA CHAIR
“
The pondering that led to the writing, allowed Tommie to put some cause-effect situations into the story that I never previously considered. And he did it without conveniences or plot-contrivances to get out of a corner. He simply didn't write himself into a corner in the first place like many authors will do. The lack of deus ex machina is refreshing.

From the first page to the last I was completely engrossed in this page-turner. It's a very short book (just under 200 pages) but the character development in such a short time is truly remarkable.

BIO
(proof of life, March 2021)
Tommie was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and raised in northeast Michigan. He's also called three other states home over the years. He's been fortunate that his travels have taken him around the 48 contiguous states, and most of Canada and Mexico over the years, thanks to long travel vacations in his childhood. Those trips were part of the motivation for him to want to write stories about places and people around the world.
He has a fantastic wife, two amazing adult children, a shivering little dog named after a hockey player, and an extremely obese cat.
He's been a broadcaster in radio long enough to learned how to cue up an actual record, witness the rise and fall of hair metal and grunge, and has been on the air in places around the country such as Kalamazoo, MI, Aztec, NM, Rapid City, SD, Colorado Springs, CO, and the bustling metropolis that is Dowagiac, MI. Currently he's a news anchor for Michiana's News Channel in South Bend, IN. He also had the honor of writing for The Elkhart Truth newspaper.
It's likely that he spends his free time writing fiction to balance out his daily writing about the real world that happens in his day job...
